June 15: Today was Lynn’s birthday, and we had hoped to enjoy Samoens, getting some email, maybe a movie and relaxing in the city. Alas, the city was closed, with no email, the cinemas closed for another week and all that was left was for Lynn and I to shuffle around town, getting some fresh fruit and bread and waiting for our feet to recover.
