HOW TO DONATE
First off, many countries (Canada, US, some European nations) will allow you to claim your donation on your tax return. In some cases, your donation will give you a tax credit of almost 50% of the amount you donate.
When donating, please put our appeal name somewhere on the donation (the appeal name is Richard & Lynn Campbell). By quoting our appeal when you donate, your donation will get matched in August when Lynn and I return from our trip. How you donate depends on where you live, here is a brief overview (more information available at http://www.roomtoread.org/involvement/donate.php)
HOW TO DONATE FOR CANADIANS
You can donate by cheque or credit card to Tides Canada – Room to Read. It is easiest to donate directly via credit card on the following secure server: https://www.gifttool.com/donations/Donate?ID=1606&VER=1&LNG=EN
To ensure your donation is matched by Lynn and I, please let us know that you have donated (we will provide Room to Read with names) and also put the following text under “comments” on the online form:

HOW TO DONATE FOR AMERICANS
You can donate directly to room to read via paypal or online (https://www.roomtoread.org/involvement/donate/us/en.php#credit). You receive a donation credit on your tax return.
HOW TO DONATE FOR SOME EUROPEANS
UK, Belgium, Netherlands, Germany and Switzerland – you can donate via Room to Read organizations in your country and recieve a tax credit. You can also donate via paypal, however you will not receive a tax credit. Please contact me and I will do the digging to figure out your specific process.
FOR ANYBODY ELSE
For everybody not listed above, alas, I don’t know if there are tax credits for your donation. But you can still donate via paypal using this page: http://www.roomtoread.org/involvement/donate/paypal.html. Please put a note under special instructions that the appeal name is Richard & Lynn Campbell.

Hi Karin, thanks for the support. Right now Lynn and I are taking pledges – you can either pledge based on us completing the walk or based on how many km’s we walk. We match whatever you choose to donate.
Once we complete the walk, we will fill out forms for your donation and collect payment then (note: we do not handle any money – all cheques and credit card pledges are made out to Tides Canada – Room to Read). We submit all the pledges at one time towards our goal of the libraries in Nepal.

Hi Guys,
We would, for sure, like to donate to Room to Read. The program excites me, and I know the donation will be used FULLY for the program instead of 20 % administration. So I am pumped and I am not even going!

Hi Lynn and Richard We have finally got around to donating via the Room to Read/JustGiving website – hope it works, we did mention Richard and Lynn Campbell.
Well done for what you have done, obviously an experience you are not going to forget and for such a worthwhile cause. We are full of admiration! Just wish we were fit enough to try it ourselves.
